Park Medi World has successfully completed the acquisition of SVPD Healthcare Private Limited, marking a significant step in its strategic expansion. The acquisition, finalised on 20 March 2026, results in SVPD Healthcare becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of Park Medi World.
This development follows a series of disclosures by the company, starting from December 2025, regarding its intent to acquire KP Institute of Medical Sciences (KPIMS) through the acquisition of shares in K P S Wellness Private Limited and SVPD Healthcare Private Limited. The acquisition of K P S Wellness was completed earlier, as announced on 30 January 2026.
The acquisition of SVPD Healthcare is part of Park Medi World’s broader strategy to enhance its healthcare offerings and expand its footprint. The company had initially announced its agreement to acquire the 360-bed KP Institute of Medical Sciences in Agra by taking over the shareholding of the two target entities.
No governmental or regulatory approvals were required for this acquisition, which has now been fully realised with the completion of the SVPD Healthcare acquisition.
