Pace Digitek Limited has announced the receipt of a significant contract valued at ₹4,945.4 million (excluding GST) from NTPC Limited. This contract involves the implementation of an EPC Package for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at the Nabinagar Super Thermal Power Station.
The contract comprises several critical components, including the Ex-Works (India) Supply for the EPC Package, comprehensive annual maintenance for the entire design life of the BESS system, and various services such as loading, transportation, and installation of equipment. The services also cover inland transit insurance, site delivery, receipt, unloading, handling, storage, preservation, conservation, and in-plant transportation. Additionally, the contract includes installation and erection work, which encompasses civil, structural, and architectural tasks, site-fabricated steel structures, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and conducting guarantee tests for all supplied plant and equipment.
The project is expected to be executed within a 15-month timeframe for the Ex-Works supply and services, while the comprehensive annual maintenance is set for a duration of 11 years. The contract has been awarded by a domestic entity, NTPC Limited, and does not involve any related party transactions or interests from the promoter or promoter group companies of Pace Digitek.
This development marks a significant milestone for Pace Digitek, reflecting its capability to secure and execute large-scale projects within the energy sector.
