Oswal Pumps has announced the receipt of a Letter of Empanelment (LOE) from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited for the supply and installation of 6,869 Off-Grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems (SPWPS). The project is set to be executed within a year under the PM Kusum B Scheme, specifically the “Magel Tyala Saur Krishi Pump” Yojna.
This development marks a significant step for Oswal Pumps as it expands its footprint in the renewable energy sector, particularly in solar-powered agricultural solutions. The PM Kusum B Scheme aims to provide farmers with solar-powered pumps to reduce their dependence on grid electricity and diesel, thereby promoting sustainable irrigation practices.
