NTPC Green Energy Limited has announced the commercial operation of the third and final part of its 75 MW capacity at the Bhadla Solar PV Project in Phalodi, Rajasthan. This development, effective from 25th March 2026, marks the completion of the 500 MW project by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy.
The company received a certificate from Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited (RREC) confirming the commercial operation status. With this addition, the total installed capacity of NTPC Green Energy Limited Group will increase from 9,727.68 MW to 9,802.68 MW.
This expansion underscores NTPC Green Energy’s commitment to enhancing its renewable energy portfolio and contributing to sustainable energy solutions.
