NTPC Green Energy Limited, a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has announced the commercial operation of a 270 MW capacity from its Khavda-II Solar PV Project in Gujarat. This development is effective from 11th March 2026.
The Khavda-II Solar PV Project, with a total planned capacity of 1200 MW, is part of NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited. With this addition, the commercial capacity of NTPC Green Energy Limited Group has increased to 9,292.68 MW, while the total installed capacity is now 9,562.68 MW.
Overall, the NTPC group’s total installed capacity has reached 88,544 MW, with a commercial capacity of 87,464 MW, marking a significant milestone in the company’s renewable energy expansion.
