NTPC Green Energy Limited has announced the commercial operation of a 165 MW capacity from its 1200 MW Khavda-II Solar PV Project located in . This development is a part of the company’s ongoing efforts to expand its renewable energy portfolio.

The latest addition brings the total commercial capacity of the Limited Group to 9727.68 MW, up from the previous 9562.68 MW. The company continues to focus on increasing its renewable energy footprint, aligning with global trends towards sustainable energy solutions.

The Khavda-II Solar PV Project is a significant step in NTPC Green Energy’s strategy to enhance its solar power generation capabilities. The project is being executed by Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited.

The commercial operation of this solar capacity is effective from 00:00 hours on 19 March 2026. This marks a crucial milestone in the company’s journey towards achieving its renewable energy targets.
