NMDC Steel Limited has announced the extension of the additional charge of the post of Director (Commercial) to Shri Vinay Kumar, who is currently serving as Director (Technical). This extension is effective from 7th April 2026 and will last for a period of one year or until the regular incumbent assumes the position, or further orders are issued, whichever occurs first.
The decision follows an order from the Ministry of Steel, Government of India, dated 30th March 2026, in conjunction with a previous order dated 20th March 2023. This move is in continuation of the earlier arrangement communicated in a letter dated 12th January 2026.
Shri Vinay Kumar has been managing the responsibilities of Director (Commercial) alongside his duties as Director (Technical), ensuring continuity in leadership and operations within the company. The extension reflects the confidence of the Ministry and NMDC Steel in his capabilities to handle both roles effectively.
