Nazara Technologies has completed the acquisition of the remaining 12.56% equity stake in its subsidiary, Next Wave Multimedia Private Limited, for a total consideration of ₹7,50,08,955. This transaction was executed on March 30, 2026, in accordance with the Share Purchase Agreement dated May 24, 2024.
The acquisition involved the purchase of 4,188 equity shares, each valued at ₹100, from the founding shareholders of Next Wave Multimedia, namely Mr. P.R Rajendran, Ms. R Kalpana, and Ms. P.R Jayashree. Prior to this transaction, Nazara Technologies held an 87.44% stake in Next Wave Multimedia.
With this acquisition, Nazara Technologies now holds 100% of the equity share capital of Next Wave Multimedia, making it a wholly owned subsidiary. This move aligns with Nazara’s strategic goals to consolidate its holdings and strengthen its position in the digital gaming sector.
