Magellanic Cloud Limited’s wholly owned subsidiary, Limited, has been awarded a significant contract by South-Western Railway, Bengaluru Division. The contract, valued at approximately ₹3.59 crore, involves the replacement and additional provision of a CCTV surveillance system at Mysuru Railway Station.

The project encompasses the supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and integration of advanced CCTV surveillance systems. This includes the integration of Video Management Systems (VMS), Video Analytics Servers (VAS), Facial Recognition Systems (FRS), and various types of cameras such as PTZ, Bullet, Dome, and 4K UHD. Additionally, the project will involve the deployment of video analytics servers, storage systems, networking infrastructure, UPS systems, and a centralised monitoring infrastructure with a failover architecture.

Joseph Sudheer Reddy Thumma, Chairman and Managing Director of Limited, commented on the development, emphasising the company’s expanding role in railway surveillance projects. He highlighted the shift towards technology-driven infrastructure modernisation across India, noting that today’s large-scale transport environments require intelligent systems capable of delivering real-time visibility and operational insights.

The contract is slated for completion within six months and marks a significant step in enhancing the safety and operational efficiency of railway infrastructure through AI-led e-surveillance solutions. These solutions aim to improve crowd and asset monitoring, strengthen perimeter security, reduce operational blind spots, and support faster decision-making across extensive transit and logistics networks.

Magellanic Cloud Limited has clarified that none of its promoters, promoter group, or group companies have any interest in the entity awarding the contract, and the order does not constitute a related party transaction.
