Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR) has announced the appointment of Shri Harbrinder Singh Bajwa as the Director (Domestic Division) for a period of nine months, effective from 1 March 2026. This appointment comes following the approval from the Ministry of Railways, which has granted ex-post facto consent for the additional charge to be held by Bajwa.
The Ministry of Railways had initially communicated its decision on 20 February 2026, allowing Bajwa, who is also the Executive Director (Finance Management) at the Railway Board, to assume the role in addition to his existing responsibilities. The Board of Directors of CONCOR had subsequently confirmed his appointment in a meeting held on 6 March 2026.
Bajwa’s tenure as Director (Domestic Division) will continue until the regular incumbent assumes the charge or until further orders, whichever occurs first. His appointment is part of the strategic decisions made by the Ministry to ensure continuity and effective management within the organisation.
