The notice directed Saifco to halt the packaging of cement products along with their weight. The alleged violations include a lack of packaging registration, a non-functional customer care number, and unverified electronic weighing scales.
Despite these issues, JK Cement has stated that there is no material financial impact on the company due to the notice. The company has sought an extension from the concerned department to respond to the notice.
