JK Cement has announced a significant enhancement in its production capabilities at the JK Cement Works in Muddapur, Karnataka. The company has successfully increased its cement grinding capacity by 1.00 MnTPA, elevating it from 3.50 MnTPA to 4.50 MnTPA as of 19 March 2026. This expansion was achieved through debottlenecking and optimisation of the existing production system, without the need to establish any new facilities.
With this development, JK Cement’s overall grey cement production capacity now stands at 32.26 MnTPA, which includes the capacities of its subsidiary companies. The clinker capacity at the Muddapur plant remains at 2.64 MnTPA.
The company confirmed that this expansion aligns with its strategic goals to enhance operational efficiency and meet increasing market demand.
