Jio removes two prepaid plans which were available at rupees 100

The reason for removing the plan by the company is still unknown but there is an assumption that the company might be planning to launch new plans for its upcoming JioPhone Next smartphone.

Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited, doing business as Jio, an Indian telecommunications company and a subsidiary of Jio Platforms has removed two prepaid plans which were available at Rs 100. Rs 39 and Rs 69 prepaid plans have been taken off by the telecom operator and are no longer available on the official website of Jio or the MyJio app.

The reason for removing the plan by the company is still unknown but there is an assumption that the company might be planning to launch new plans for its upcoming JioPhone Next smartphone. As per the latest announcement made by Reliance Jio and Google, before Diwali, the new 4G phone will be available in the market for making a purchase.

100 MB of daily data and unlimited voice calling to any network within India are being offered by JioPhone Rs 39 prepaid plan. It also contains 100 SMS with a validity of 14 days. Whereas the Rs 69 prepaid JioPhone plan provides 0.5GB of daily data, unlimited voice calling, and a total of 100 SMS. Telecom Talk was the first to cover the changes.

Recently “Buy 1 Get 1 free” offer also got withdrawn by Reliance Jio, which was being used JioPhone users, the offer was giving customers the next recharge free after they made the payment for the first one. This offered helped many JioPhone users during the pandemic, which is now deleted from the site.
