Infosys reports 11.8% rise in net profit to ₹5,809 crore in Q3

The company witnessed an increase in the number of its Women Employees to 39.6% in December 2021 which was up to 38.3% last year during the same month.

Infosys has finally released its most awaited consolidated financial data of the third quarter for fiscal 2022 today. IT major Infosys on Wednesday reported 6.3 per cent quarter-on-quarter growth and 20.9 per cent year-on-year growth in revenues by offering. Its consolidated net profit for the quarter concluding December ascended 11.8 per cent to Rs 5,809 crore from Rs 5,197 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Gross revenue for the quarter rose 12.3 per cent YoY to Rs 25,927 crore. It was up 5.5 per cent on a sequential basis. In constant currency teams, revenue growth was 7 per cent on QoQ and 21.5 per cent on a YoY basis. The company witnessed an increase in the number of its Women Employees to 39.6% in December 2021 which was up to 38.3% last year during the same month.

The company enunciated its revenue from operations augmented 22.91 per cent year-on-year (YoY)to Rs 31,867 crore. The figures depicted Rs 25,927 crore in the same quarter the previous year.

“We expect Infosys to upgrade its current guidance of 16.5-17.5 per cent constant currency (CC) growth for FY22 to 17-18 per cent in CC terms,” analysts at YES Securities said. The company had reported a 20 per cent revenue growth in the last quarter also, beating Street expectation

Net Profit (after minority interest) of the company in December 2021 was US $774M compared to US $705M last year and growth percentage in Q3 22 over Q3 stood 9.9%
