The Great Eastern Shipping Company Limited () has successfully delivered its 2007 built Medium Range Tanker ‘Jag Prakash’ to the buyers as of 13th May 2026. This transaction was initially contracted for sale in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2027 (Q1 FY27).

Following this delivery, GE Shipping’s current owned fleet comprises 40 vessels. This includes 25 tankers, which are divided into 5 crude tankers, 16 product tankers, and 4 LPG carriers. Additionally, the fleet consists of 15 dry bulk carriers, which include 2 Capesize, 10 Kamsarmax, 1 Ultramax, and 2 Supramax vessels, aggregating to a total of 3.24 million deadweight tonnage (dwt).

In addition to the sale of ‘Jag Prakash’, the company has entered into contracts to purchase one secondhand Medium Range Tanker. Furthermore, GE Shipping has also contracted to sell another Medium Range Tanker, ‘Jag Pankhi’. These transactions are anticipated to be completed in Q1 FY27.
