The Great Eastern Shipping Company Limited (GE Shipping) has successfully delivered its 2003 built Medium Range Tanker, ‘Jag Pankhi’, to the buyers on 14th May 2026. The vessel was contracted for sale in the first quarter of the financial year 2027.
Following this transaction, GE Shipping’s current owned fleet consists of 39 vessels. This includes 24 tankers, which are divided into 5 crude tankers, 15 product tankers, and 4 LPG carriers, alongside 15 dry bulk carriers comprising 2 capesize, 10 kamsarmax, 1 ultramax, and 2 supramax vessels, aggregating a total of 3.19 million deadweight tonnes (dwt).
In addition to the sale, GE Shipping has also contracted to purchase one secondhand Medium Range Tanker. This acquisition is expected to be finalised in the first quarter of the financial year 2027.
