G R Infraprojects has been awarded a significant EPC contract by NTPC Limited for the implementation of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) at the Mouda Super Thermal Power Station. The contract, valued at Rs 413.37 crore, excludes GST and is set to be completed within 15 months from the appointed date.
The project involves engineering, procurement, and construction services, as well as comprehensive annual maintenance for the entire design life of the BESS system. This domestic contract underscores G R Infraprojects‘ growing presence in the energy infrastructure sector, particularly in advanced energy storage solutions.
NTPC Limited, a leading power utility, selected G R Infraprojects for this strategic project, which is part of its broader initiative to enhance energy storage capabilities at its thermal power stations. The contract does not involve any related party transactions, and the promoter group of G R Infraprojects has no interest in NTPC Limited.
