EaseMyTrip, a prominent player in India’s online travel-tech sector, has reported a significant double-digit growth in the adoption of its airport services. The company highlighted a marked increase in the use of ancillary services such as Duty-Free shopping and Meet & Greet assistance, which are becoming increasingly popular among Indian travellers seeking convenience and efficiency.

The Duty-Free shopping service, developed in collaboration with , has gained considerable traction. Travellers are showing a strong preference for premium categories, with nearly 60% purchasing liquor, 30% opting for perfumes, and 10% choosing chocolates and other items. This service allows international travellers to browse and purchase products online up to 30 days and as late as one hour before departure, offering a seamless and queue-free experience. Currently, it is available at major international airports including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Amritsar, Mangaluru, and Thiruvananthapuram.

EaseMyTrip’s Meet & Greet services are also witnessing robust adoption, particularly in key metro cities, with Delhi leading in usage, followed by Mumbai and Bengaluru. While traditionally popular among senior citizens, these services are increasingly being adopted by younger travellers aged 25-30, indicating a generational shift towards more seamless and experience-led travel.
