Dilip Buildcon, through its joint venture DBL-RBL, has been awarded a significant project valued at ₹268 crore. The project involves the designing and construction of the Ged Barrage, along with protection work and other allied activities across the Sabarmati River, situated between the Hirpura barrage and Lakroda weir. This project is to be executed on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) mode.
The award was granted by the Narmada Water Resources Water Supply & Kalpasar Department, Government of Gujarat. The project is expected to be completed within a 24-month period and includes operation and maintenance for a decade following the completion of construction.
This domestic contract signifies a substantial addition to Dilip Buildcon‘s portfolio, reinforcing its presence in the infrastructure sector. The project does not involve any related party transactions, and there is no interest from the promoter or promoter group companies in the awarding entity.
The contract aligns with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, ensuring compliance with the necessary disclosures. Additionally, in accordance with the company’s code of conduct and insider trading regulations, the trading window for dealing in the company’s securities will remain closed until 48 hours after this information becomes publicly available.
