Dilip Buildcon has been declared the L-1 bidder for a significant project involving the design and construction of the Ged Barrage, along with protection work and other allied activities across the Sabarmati River. The project, awarded by the Narmada Water Resources Water Supply & Kalpasar Department, Government of Gujarat, is valued at ₹268 crore, excluding GST.
The project will be executed on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) basis and is expected to be completed within 24 months. It includes the construction of the Ged Barrage, protection work, and other related activities between the Hirpura barrage and Lakroda weir in the Sabarkantha district. Additionally, the project encompasses operation and maintenance for a period of 10 years.
This development aligns with Dilip Buildcon‘s strategic focus on expanding its infrastructure portfolio and strengthening its presence in the domestic market. The company has consistently demonstrated its capability in executing large-scale EPC projects across India.
The contract does not involve any related party transactions, and there is no promoter or promoter group interest in the entity that awarded the contract.
