Diamond Power Infrastructure has successfully commissioned its seventh medium voltage (MV) and extra high voltage (EHV) power cable production line at its facility in Gujarat. The new line is based on Continuous Catenary Vulcanisation (CCV) technology, marking a significant advancement in the company’s manufacturing capabilities.

The existing capacity at the Vadodara facility stands at 900 kilometres per month, with a current capacity utilisation rate of 60%. The newly commissioned line will add an additional 150 kilometres per month to the facility’s output. This expansion is a strategic move to meet the increasing demand for power cables, as indicated by the company’s rationale for the investment.

The total investment for the new production line amounts to ₹55 crore, which has been financed through internal accruals. This investment underscores ‘s commitment to enhancing its production capabilities and catering to the growing market demand.

The commissioning of this new line is in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The company has provided all necessary details as required under the regulation, ensuring transparency in its operations.
