Dalmia Bharat has announced a temporary disruption in its clinker supply due to a breakdown in one of its kilns at , . The incident, which occurred on 13th March 2026, affected the company’s clinker output, a crucial component for its grinding units in Odisha, West Bengal, and Jharkhand.

The kiln breakdown lasted for 14 days, during which time the company was already operating at low inventory levels. As a result, cement sales in ‘s key eastern markets were impacted by approximately 2.5 to 3 lakh tons in March 2026. The company has since completed necessary repairs and maintenance, relighting the kiln and resuming clinker production by 27th March 2026.

Dalmia Bharat expressed regret for the disruption caused to its channel partners during this peak demand period. The company reassured stakeholders that measures are being taken to normalise supply chains as quickly as possible.

While the event does not qualify as a material event under SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015, Dalmia Bharat chose to disclose the information voluntarily to keep stakeholders informed.
