Welspun Corp has shared a significant update regarding its associate company, East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry (EPIC), which has announced the signing of a major contract with the Saudi Water Authority. The agreement, disclosed to the Saudi Stock Exchange, covers the manufacturing and supply of steel pipes valued at more than 485 million Saudi Riyals, which roughly translates to about ₹1,165 crore, including VAT.

This new contract is set to run for six months, and the financial contribution from the project will begin appearing in EPIC’s books from the fourth quarter of FY 2025–26, continuing into the first quarter of FY 2026–27. The scale and timing of the project indicate a strong order pipeline and reaffirm EPIC’s standing in the Kingdom’s infrastructure expansion plans.

EPIC has long been recognized as Saudi Arabia’s leading producer of Helical Submerged Arc Welded (HSAW) pipes. The company’s integrated manufacturing capabilities, combined with its proven ability to execute large and complex orders with precision and efficiency, have made it a preferred supplier across the region. Its customer-centric approach and consistent delivery standards continue to strengthen its market leadership.

This contract also aligns with Saudi Arabia’s broader development roadmap under Vision 2030, which places heavy emphasis on upgrading core water and energy infrastructure. EPIC’s involvement in such high-value national projects highlights both its operational excellence and its growing strategic relevance within the Kingdom.
