Shares of United Drilling Tools Ltd (UDTL) may remain in focus after the company announced that it has secured a new overseas order worth Rs 1.61 crore from Cactus for Oil Services, a prominent engineering solutions provider in Libya’s oil and gas sector. The contract is for the supply of Injection Pressure Operation Gas Lift Valves and Side Pocket Mandrels, key components used in artificial lift systems for oil wells.
According to the company’s statement, the order will be executed over a period of three months, further reinforcing UDTL’s footprint in global oil and gas markets, particularly across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. The company highlighted that this award underscores the industry’s growing confidence in UDTL’s technology and product reliability.
Shri Manoj Kumar Arora, CFO of UDTL, expressed optimism about international opportunities and emphasized the strategic importance of expanding the company’s presence in overseas markets.
Founded in 1985 and based in Noida, UDTL manufactures a wide range of oilfield equipment including casing pipes, gas lift equipment, wireline tools, and downhole tools, adhering to API and ISO standards. The company also boasts 32 registered trademarks and 14 design patents, with growing recognition in both Indian and global markets.
