Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Ltd has shared an important update with the exchanges, confirming a positive development in its ongoing matter with the World Bank.
The company announced that the World Bank has officially removed its name from the Debarred Firms and Individuals list on its website. This move comes as a significant relief, restoring confidence for stakeholders and signalling improved clarity around the case.
Alongside this, the World Bank has also granted the company more time to submit its formal explanation in the ongoing sanctions proceedings. The deadline for filing the response has now been extended to 12 January 2026, giving the company additional room to prepare its submission.
Transformers & Rectifiers has assured that it will continue to comply with all disclosure norms under SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements and will keep the exchanges updated on any major developments as the case progresses.
