Tivolt Electric Vehicles Private Limited, an EV venture by Murugappa Group and subsidiary of TI Clean Mobility, has partnered with Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL) to strengthen the EV charging infrastructure for commercial vehicles across India. This collaboration aims to establish a reliable and accessible charging network, leveraging TPREL’s expertise in EV charging solutions and Tivolt’s growing fleet of small electric commercial vehicles.
Under the MoU, signed by Saju Nair, CEO of Tivolt, and Virendra Goyal, Head BD EV Charging at TPREL, the partnership will deploy EV chargers at Tivolt dealerships, customer locations, and high-traffic public areas. These strategic placements ensure convenience and reliability for commercial EV users.
TPREL, a leader in renewable energy and EV charging solutions, has already installed 200+ customized EV charging stations across 100+ cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Kolkata. This new initiative will further enhance the charging infrastructure while integrating solar energy systems to power Tivolt dealerships and customer locations. This innovative approach reduces carbon emissions and makes charging more affordable, promoting a sustainable and cost-effective shift to electric mobility.
