Tamilnadu Petroproducts Q3 results: Revenue rises 32% YoY to Rs 465.13 crore, Net Profit up 322% YoY

 

Tamilnadu Petroproducts Limited (TPL) has announced its financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2024, reporting revenue of Rs 465.13 crore, a growth from Rs 455.66 crore in the preceding quarter and Rs 351.98 crore in the same quarter last year. The company’s improved performance is attributed to optimal production, efficient cost management, and better realizations in a competitive environment.

EBITDA for the quarter almost doubled to Rs 22.71 crore compared to Rs 11.87 crore in Q2 FY25 and Rs 11.68 crore in Q3 FY24. The profit before tax (PBT) before exceptional items stood at Rs 15.46 crore, significantly higher than Rs 5.60 crore in the preceding quarter. The company recognized an exceptional expense of Rs 0.86 crore related to damage and restoration activities following the Michaung cyclone in December 2023.

Net profit for the quarter stood at Rs 10.31 crore, compared to Rs 2.83 crore in the previous quarter and Rs 2.44 crore in Q3 FY24.

In a leadership update, Mr. D Senthi Kumar has been elevated to the role of Managing Director, while Mr. Manish Nagpal has been appointed as an Additional Director, and Mr. C Parthiban will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer from February 12, 2025.
