Swan Energy revives Reliance Naval and Engineering, completes refit of Indian Coast Guard vessel ahead of schedule

Swan Energy Limited (SEL), a diversified global conglomerate, announced the resumption of operations at its shipyard, Reliance Naval and Engineering Limited (RNEL). The shipyard, recently revitalized under SEL’s management following its acquisition through the NCLT, has successfully completed its first major project—a refit of the Indian Coast Guard’s fast patrol vessel Raj Ratan.

    • The refit of the Raj Ratan, which commenced on 4th September 2024, was completed ahead of schedule on 30th November 2024.
    • The project involved comprehensive services, including berthing, dry docking, and critical yard services, executed in collaboration with Sadhav Offshore Engineering Pvt. Ltd.
