Subros Limited, one of the leading manufacturers of thermal products for automotive and rail applications, has announced that it has received a new order worth approximately ₹27 crore from Indian Railways, Banaras Locomotive Works (BLW), Varanasi.
According to the company’s latest disclosure dated October 25, 2025, the contract involves the supply of cabin air-conditioning equipment for Diesel Electric Locomotives. The order will be executed in phases up to October 16, 2026.
Subros stated that the order follows the standard terms and conditions of Indian Railways and has been awarded by a domestic entity. The total contract value includes ₹22.78 crore plus GST of ₹4.10 crore.
The company further clarified that no promoter or group companies have any interest in the awarding entity, and the transaction does not fall under related party dealings.
This new contract strengthens Subros’ presence in the railways segment, underlining its technical expertise and long-standing partnership with Indian Railways.
