Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited reported a mixed performance for the quarter ended March 31, 2026, with a sharp rise in profitability and margin improvement despite a decline in revenue on a year-on-year basis.
The company posted a net profit of ₹135 crore in Q4FY26, compared to ₹55.4 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Revenue from operations declined 22.8% YoY to ₹1,945 crore, as against ₹2,519 crore in Q4FY25, reflecting a contraction in topline during the quarter.
At the operating level, EBITDA rose 9% YoY to ₹145.5 crore from ₹133.4 crore in the year-ago period, while EBITDA margin improved to 7.5% from 5.3%, indicating better operating efficiency despite lower revenue.
Overall, the quarter reflects improved profitability and margin expansion despite weaker revenue, suggesting better cost control and execution during the period.
