
SJVN has recently informed exchanges that the company has signed two MoUs with the Maharashtra government to develop 8100 MW of Pumped Storage Projects and a 505 MW Floating Solar Project. With an estimated investment of 48,000 crores, the projects will create 8400 employment while also promoting eco-tourism and skills development.
SJVN and the Maharashtra government’s Department of Water Resources signed the first MoU for the development of five Pumped Storage Projects with a total capacity of 8100MW.
SJVN and Maharashtra State Power Generation Company (MAHAGENCO) signed a second MOU to develop a 505 MW floating solar project at Lower Wardha Dam, Maharashtra. The MoU was signed by Sh. Sushil Sharma, Chairman and Managing Director of SJVN and Dr. P. Anbalagan (IAS), CMD of MAHAGENCO.
