RVNL secures Rs 404.4 crore contract from East Coast Railway for Koraput-Singapur road doubling project

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), a Government of India Enterprise, has announced the receipt of a Letter of Acceptance from East Coast Railway for the execution of a key project under the Koraput-Singapur Road Doubling Project. The contract involves the execution of 27 major bridges, including 22 large bridges and 5 Road Over Bridges (ROBs), as well as earthwork in the formation of approaches, protection works, and other miscellaneous tasks between Tikiri and Bhalumaska stations in the Waltair Division of East Coast Railway.

This significant contract is valued at approximately ₹404.4 crore (₹404,40,32,985), inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST), with an execution period of 30 months. The project aims to enhance infrastructure and connectivity in the region, aligning with India’s broader railway development goals.
