REC Limited has recently reported robust performance for the second quarter and first half of the fiscal year 2024-25. For Q2, the company disbursed loans totalling ₹47,303 crore, marking a 13.71% growth compared to the same period last year. Over the first half of the fiscal year, loan disbursements reached ₹90,955 crore, reflecting a notable 20.10% year-on-year increase.
Loan disbursements for renewable energy projects surged by 37.35% in Q2, amounting to ₹5,946 crore, compared to ₹4,329 crore in the previous year. In the first half of FY24-25, loans for renewable energy projects soared by 92.68%, reaching ₹11,297 crore, up from ₹5,863 crore in the same period last year
