RailTel Corporation of India Ltd., a leading provider of information and communications technology services for the railway sector, has announced the receipt of a major order from Northern Railway. The work order, valued at ₹10 crore (including taxes), involves providing cloud services for the Railway Board.
The contract, awarded by Northern Railway, is domestic in nature and is expected to be executed by February 27, 2025. RailTel stated that the order signifies its growing role in supporting the digital transformation of Indian Railways through advanced IT solutions.
The company confirmed that neither the promoter group nor related parties have any interest in the awarding entity, ensuring the deal complies with regulatory guidelines.
