Rail Vikas Nigam emerges as lowest bidder for South Central Railway project worth Rs 294.95 crore

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for a major Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) contract with South Central Railway.

The project involves the doubling of tracks between Navipet and Indalvai stations in Telangana, covering a stretch of 33.7 km, excluding a 2.3 km section in the Nizamabad Yard. Additionally, the contract includes electrification and signalling works for the Mudkhed-Medchal Doubling Project.

The contract, tendered under EPC-08-CAO-C-SC-2024, is valued at INR 294.95 crore and is to be completed within 24 months.

This move aligns with RVNL’s growth strategy in the railway sector, contributing significantly to the expansion and modernization of railway infrastructure in the region.
