Quadrant Future Tek Limited has received and accepted a major domestic order worth ₹181.56 crore (including taxes) from Banaras Locomotive Works (BLW) for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 223 Onboard KAVACH Loco Equipment Version 4.0 units.

The contract covers delivery of the equipment as per RDSO specifications and includes warranty support. Execution of the order is scheduled to be completed within 12 months from the date of the purchase order.

KAVACH is India’s indigenous train collision avoidance system, designed to enhance railway safety through automatic braking and real-time communication between locomotives and signalling infrastructure. With the rollout of Version 4.0 equipment, the focus remains on strengthening safety mechanisms across the Indian Railways network.

The total contract value stands at ₹1,81,56,66,000, reinforcing Quadrant Future Tek’s position in the railway safety and signalling technology space. The order has been awarded by a domestic entity, and the company has clarified that the promoters and promoter group have no interest in BLW. The transaction is conducted on an arm’s length basis and does not fall under related party transactions.
