Prince Pipes commences commercial production at Begusarai, expands manufacturing footprint

Prince Pipes and Fittings Limited (PPFL), one of India’s leading integrated piping solutions and multi-polymer manufacturers, has commenced commercial production at its newly established manufacturing unit in Begusarai, Bihar. This marks PPFL’s eighth manufacturing facility across the country, reinforcing its strategic expansion in India’s high-growth eastern market.

The state-of-the-art facility is expected to have a total installed capacity of approximately 60,000 metric tons per annum, with the first phase already operational at 24,000 metric tons per annum. The plant will manufacture PVC and CPVC pipes and fittings, catering to the growing demand in the eastern region.

Prince Pipes’ latest expansion aligns with its long-term growth strategy to enhance marketing speed, ensure faster local deliveries, and improve cost-efficiency by optimizing logistics costs. The company’s other plants are located in key industrial hubs, including Sangareddy, Jaipur, Kolhapur, Chennai, Haridwar, Dadra, and Athal.

Speaking on the development, Parag Chheda, Joint Managing Director of Prince Pipes, stated, “The launch of our Begusarai facility comes at an opportune time as the industry experiences rapid consolidation. This new unit strengthens PPFL’s manufacturing presence, bringing greater service agility and reinforcing our leadership position in the sector.”

PPFL has been expanding its product portfolio, including its recent foray into bathware through the acquisition of Aquel, and continues to bolster its market presence through an extensive distributor network.

With this expansion, Prince Pipes further strengthens its commitment to quality, innovation, and enhanced customer service in India’s dynamic piping solutions industry.
