
Prakash Industries Limited has announced the commencement of mining operations at the Bhaskarpara Commercial Coal Mine in Surajpur, Chhattisgarh. The company has received the final “Permission to Enter” from the district’s Mining Branch, marking a significant milestone.
Coal extraction is set to begin next month, promising substantial cost savings and operational efficiencies for Prakash Industries’ Integrated Steel Plant. Additionally, the commercial nature of this mine allows the company to sell coal in the market, further enhancing profitability and driving growth.
In the meantime, Prakash Industries shares closed at ₹174.25, marking a rise from their opening price of ₹168.50. The day’s high and low stood at ₹174.52 and ₹167.37, respectively. The stock remains far from its 52-week high of ₹237.00 but comfortably above its 52-week low of ₹128.15.
