Prakash Industries has officially commenced coal extraction from its Bhaskarpara Commercial Coal Mine, marking a significant milestone in its operations. The company also started coal dispatches to its Integrated Steel Plant in Champa, Chhattisgarh, as of yesterday.
This development is set to drive substantial cost savings and operational efficiencies for Prakash Industries. By securing a reliable coal supply, the company aims to enhance productivity and strengthen its competitive edge in the steel manufacturing sector.
In the exchange filing, the company stated, “The Company is pleased to inform that the coal extraction from its Bhaskarpara Commercial Coal Mine has commenced and the coal despatches to its Integrated Steel plant at Champa (C.G.) have started yesterday. The supplies of coal from the mine shall result in substantial cost reductions and efficiencies in its plant operations.”
