PNC Infratech Limited has announced that it has emerged as the Lowest (L1) Bidder for a major infrastructure project floated by the Airports Authority of India (AAI). The project involves the development of Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Varanasi, with a quoted contract value of ₹297.01 crore (exclusive of GST).

According to the company’s regulatory filing, the scope of work includes the extension of the runway, re-carpeting, strengthening of the existing runway, and allied works. The financial bids for the project were opened on September 2, 2025.

The project is to be executed within 18 months from the date of awarding. AAI, a domestic government entity, is the awarding authority. PNC Infratech clarified that this order does not fall under related party transactions and that its promoters or group companies have no interest in it.

PNC Infratech stated that the estimated project size stands at ₹297.01 crore, marking another significant milestone in the company’s infrastructure portfolio.

Additionally, as per the company’s code of conduct and insider trading regulations, the trading window for designated employees and connected persons will remain closed for 48 hours after this announcement.
