PNB Housing Finance Ltd. has announced that its Managing Director and CEO, Mr. Girish Kousgi, has submitted his resignation, which was accepted by the company’s board during its meeting held on July 31, 2025. According to the official filing, his resignation will take effect from the close of business hours on October 28, 2025.
Mr. Kousgi, who took charge of the company’s leadership, is stepping down to explore opportunities outside the organisation. Along with his exit from the parent company, he will also cease to be a director on the boards of the company’s subsidiaries—PHFL Home Loans and Services Ltd. and PEHEL Foundation—on the same date.
The Board of Directors expressed their appreciation for his contributions, highlighting his leadership and mentorship during his tenure. The company has also stated that necessary disclosures, including Mr. Kousgi’s resignation letter and compliance details, have been made available on its official website as per SEBI regulations.
