P N Gadgil Jewellers reported strong year-on-year growth in its Q4 results, with revenue, EBITDA and net profit rising sharply during the quarter.
The company’s standalone net profit rose to Rs 87 crore in Q4, compared with Rs 62.4 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Revenue surged to Rs 3,530 crore, compared with Rs 1,570 crore in the year-ago period, reflecting strong topline growth during the quarter.
Operating performance also improved in absolute terms. EBITDA increased to Rs 130 crore, compared with Rs 93.8 crore in the same quarter last year.
However, EBITDA margin contracted to 3.7%, compared with 5.96% in the year-ago quarter, indicating margin pressure despite higher revenue and operating profit.
Overall, P N Gadgil Jewellers delivered strong topline growth and higher profitability in Q4, although margins remained under pressure on a year-on-year basis.
