Oswal Pumps Limited has received a significant boost after being awarded a major order under the PM-KUSUM B Scheme by Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited (KREDL). The order involves the supply and installation of 3,263 off-grid DC solar photovoltaic water pumping systems, with a total contract value of ₹119.92 crore inclusive of GST.

The project covers end-to-end execution, including design, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of solar water pumping systems. These pumps will be deployed in multiple capacities—3 HP, 5 HP, 7.5 HP, and 10 HP—across identified farmers’ locations throughout Karnataka. The initiative aims to strengthen sustainable irrigation practices while accelerating the adoption of renewable energy solutions in the agricultural sector.

This order marks Oswal Pumps Limited’s first large-scale and comprehensive project in Karnataka, representing an important milestone in the company’s geographic expansion strategy. Successful execution is expected to enhance the company’s presence in the state and support deeper market penetration, opening the door to larger opportunities in the region.

The contract also reinforces Oswal Pumps Limited’s standing as a key player in the solar pumping solutions segment. The company’s robust in-house manufacturing capabilities, well-established supply chain, and extensive installation and after-sales service network have positioned it strongly for executing large public-sector renewable energy projects. Its consistent track record of timely delivery and high-quality execution continues to strengthen credibility under government-led clean energy programs.

Commenting on the development, Vivek Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director of Oswal Pumps Limited, highlighted that the Karnataka project is a strategic step forward for the company. He noted that the order underlines Oswal Pumps Limited’s proven ability to handle large-scale solar pumping initiatives and reflects confidence in its execution capabilities within public sector renewable energy frameworks.
