Ola Electric, India’s largest electric vehicle company, announced a major retail transformation on April 3 with the launch of #HyperDelivery, an initiative that enables same-day registration and delivery of EVs. This customer-first feature has already been piloted in Bangalore and is set to roll out across India throughout this quarter.
Under this new model, customers can complete purchases online or at Ola Electric stores and take home a fully registered vehicle within hours—a first in the Indian automotive industry.
The company has leveraged AI-based automation and brought its registration process in-house, eliminating middlemen and reducing the overall processing time. This strategic tech integration aims to smoothen the vehicle purchase journey and significantly cut down delivery timelines.
“We have significantly cut the processing time of registering the vehicles through AI-led automation and by moving the registration process completely in-house,” said a spokesperson for Ola Electric.
Ola’s initiative introduces a quick-commerce-like experience in the auto industry, transforming the traditional waiting period into an instant gratification model.
