Ola Electric consolidates market leadership with 15,672 registrations in October 2024, capturing 34% market share

Ola Electric, India’s largest electric two-wheeler (EV 2W) company, recorded 15,672 registrations in October 2024, solidifying a 34% market share, according to the Vahan portal. This performance is driven by the company’s extensive S1 scooter portfolio and its rapidly expanding service network.

As part of its ongoing growth strategy, Ola Electric has introduced several initiatives to boost EV penetration in tier-2 and tier-3 cities and enhance the after-sales experience. The company recently launched the #HyperService campaign, which will double its service network to 1,000 centers by December 2024. Additionally, Ola aims to onboard 10,000 partners by 2025 and train 1 lakh third-party mechanics to become EV-ready across India.

Ola Electric’s S1 scooter series includes offerings at various price points, catering to different customer needs. Its premium models, such as the S1 Pro and S1 Air, are priced at ₹1,34,999 and ₹1,07,499, respectively. The mass market S1 X series includes models priced from ₹74,999 to ₹1,01,999.

The company continues to strengthen its leadership in the EV 2W segment and plans to maintain this momentum throughout the festive season, spearheading India’s shift towards electric mobility.
