Northern Spirits Limited has announced a strategic partnership with Famiglia Berta 1842 Vineyards, a certified historic winemaking estate in Piedmonte, Italy, marking its entry into the global luxury beverage market. As part of this collaboration, the company has introduced its premium wine label “San Miche – Piedmonte Barbera DOC.”

The alliance positions Northern Spirits to tap into India’s fast-growing premium alcohol segment and strengthen its brand portfolio both domestically and internationally. The company said the move will enhance brand equity and boost long-term profitability by expanding its presence in the luxury beverage space.

According to the BSE filing, the partnership is not a related-party transaction and aligns with the company’s strategy of innovation and portfolio diversification. Northern Spirits emphasised that India’s premium liquor market is expanding rapidly, outpacing growth in regular-range spirits, providing a strong runway for the new venture.

The company stated that the “San Miche” launch reflects its commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and tapping global premium consumption trends.

The filing submitted to exchanges notes:
“This strategic move aims to enhance brand equity and strengthen the bottom line over the long term… The premium liquor space in India is growing at a much faster pace than the regular range.”

The partnership and product launch comply with Regulation 30 of SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements norms.

Northern Spirits, a premium spirits distribution and manufacturing company, continues expanding its footprint in the alco-beverage market with a focus on luxury offerings, strengthening its competitive positioning in the evolving consumer landscape.
