Netweb Technologies India Ltd. has announced a strategic collaboration with NYSE-listed Vertiv (VRT), a global leader in critical digital infrastructure, to jointly engineer and validate advanced GPU-based compute platforms integrated with end-to-end AI data center solutions.

The partnership will combine Netweb’s in-house designed, rack-scale GPU computing systems with Vertiv’s liquid cooling and power infrastructure technologies. The move is aimed at addressing the rapidly increasing power consumption and extreme thermal density challenges driven by AI training and inference workloads.

Under the collaboration, Netweb’s high-performance computing platforms will leverage Vertiv’s liquid cooling systems, including coolant distribution units and free cooling chillers. The integration will also incorporate advanced power infrastructure such as busways and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems featuring power conversion and dynamic load management capabilities.

The validated rack-scale AI solutions are expected to deliver higher rack densities, faster deployment timelines, and enhanced operational reliability. With AI workloads demanding significantly higher energy and cooling efficiency, the integrated systems are designed to optimise thermal performance while ensuring stable and scalable performance across large-scale deployments.

Both companies operate design, engineering, and manufacturing facilities in India, reinforcing the government’s Make in India initiative. The collaboration reflects an “India for India, India for the world” strategy, strengthening India’s position as a growing global hub for AI infrastructure innovation and exports. It also aligns with preferential tax regulations introduced for foreign cloud service providers and data center operators, further enhancing India’s attractiveness as a digital infrastructure destination.

Environmental sustainability remains a key focus of the partnership. Vertiv’s liquid cooling solutions are engineered to significantly improve energy efficiency compared to conventional air-cooled systems and reduce water usage relative to traditional water-cooled architectures. This approach supports India’s broader energy efficiency and environmental responsibility goals while lowering the carbon footprint of power-intensive AI operations.

The integrated liquid-cooled rack stack solutions are designed to improve overall data center efficiency through superior heat management, optimised power utilisation, and scalable architecture capable of supporting next-generation AI accelerators. The collaboration underscores both companies’ commitment to building resilient, energy-efficient, and high-performance AI infrastructure to power the next phase of digital transformation.
