Navin Fluorine International Limited has informed that its new Anhydrous Hydrofluoric Acid (AHF) manufacturing plant at Dahej, Gujarat, has been commissioned and commercial production has commenced today. The disclosure was made pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The project relates to the capital expenditure of ₹450 crore announced earlier on March 17, 2023, for setting up a 40,000 tonnes per annum hydrofluoric acid manufacturing capacity. The facility has been established at Navin Fluorine Advanced Sciences Limited’s Dahej site.

According to the company’s filing, the plant has completed commissioning and has started commercial operations. No additional financial or operational details beyond the commissioning status have been disclosed at this stage.

Hydrofluoric acid is an intermediate used in the fluorochemicals value chain. The commissioning of the Dahej plant adds new production capacity as per the previously announced expansion plan.

The company stated that the update is in continuation of its earlier intimation regarding the project and is being shared in compliance with regulatory disclosure requirements.
