Muthoot Finance settles $250 million senior secured notes under $2 billion global bond programme

Muthoot Finance Limited on Tuesday announced the successful issuance and settlement of U.S. $250 million worth of 6.375% senior secured notes due in 2029. These notes will be consolidated and form a single series with the U.S. $400 million notes previously issued under the company’s $2 billion Global Medium Term Note (GMTN) Programme.

The decision was approved by the Finance Committee of the company’s Board of Directors in a meeting held on March 26, 2025. The notes were issued pursuant to Regulation S of the U.S. Securities Act, 1933, and in compliance with applicable Indian regulations.

The newly issued notes will be listed on the NSE IFSC Limited (GIFT City Exchange).

With this, Muthoot Finance continues to strengthen its global debt profile, having now issued a total of $650 million in senior secured notes due 2029 under its GMTN programme.
