MOIL Limited, a leading Government of India enterprise, reported record-breaking performance for the quarter ending December 2024. The company achieved its best-ever Q3 production of manganese ore at 4.6 lakh tonnes, marking a significant milestone in its operational history. In addition, MOIL recorded its best-ever Q3 sales of 3.88 lakh tonnes, reflecting a 13% increase over the same period in the previous year.
For the period from April to December 2024, the company also saw impressive growth with production reaching 13.3 lakh tonnes, a 4.5% increase compared to the corresponding period last year. Sales for the same period grew by 3.5%, totaling 11.39 lakh tonnes. The company also demonstrated progress in its exploration efforts, with exploratory core drilling reaching 72,340 meters, an increase of 19% year-over-year.
MOIL’s robust performance positions it to exceed its highest-ever Q3 revenue, reinforcing the company’s strong growth trajectory. Chairman and Managing Director, Shri Ajit Kumar Saxena, expressed confidence that the company would continue its positive momentum moving forward.
This impressive growth underscores MOIL’s commitment to strengthening its operations and maintaining its leadership position in the manganese ore market.
